The 1990s saw some of the biggest life changes for Kent, including getting married and having two children. This was also when his career increased in intensity- perhaps out of a need to provide for those big life changes. Kent worked across the country and in the growing film and television industry in Saskatchewan, including as a recurring character on Prairie Berry Pie staring singer/songwriter Brenda Baker.

A note from Lauren: My first memory of my dad on stage was him being pulled in a wagon standing in for a pirate ship in this production of Peter Pan at The Globe Theatre in 1997. I was four years old.

Kent’s first appearance in any version of A Christmas Carol was in Scrooge as Marley’s Ghost.
